RWTH Hochschulsport offers many sports at student rates; check eligibility and current prices before booking.

Courses include ball sports, climbing, dance and fitness. Check the Hochschulsport site for the current programme and enrolment rules.

Some courses cost less for eligible students than comparable outside options. Compare the current course price before booking.

  • Run or walk up the Lousberg, the hill park right next to the city center.
  • The Aachener Wald (forest) south of the city is great for longer runs and weekend hikes.
  • Join a pickup game: ask your classmates. Joining a team is one of the fastest ways to make German friends.
